RE: Feedback About Video

This reflects a poignant and accurate portrayal of the challenges within the teaching profession. Working across various educational roles, I've witnessed firsthand the disparity between the societal and financial appreciation for educators. The nominal support from the community often fades when it's time to make pivotal decisions at the polls. It's becoming increasingly clear that there must be a concerted effort to revolutionize our societal perception of education. Currently, many view teachers as expendable, and in a sense, they are not wrong; without proper remuneration or respect, educators are compelled to abandon the field for more lucrative opportunities. This trend is disheartening, especially for those passionate about teaching and aware of the initial compromises involved. However, it appears that these sacrifices are being exploited over time, ultimately to the detriment of our students.

Feedback

Lesson 1: Alex executed the task admirably. The activity proved enjoyable, aligning perfectly with the chosen grade level. She adeptly conveyed the concepts, skillfully bringing the community-building aspect to fruition by the end.

Lesson 2: The videos provided delightful entertainment for kindergartners, yet I suggest considering a first or second-grade level for a more fitting challenge. Employing a tool to engage the kids was a commendable approach.

Lesson 3: Logan's creative writing session left a positive impression on me. The utilization of both spoken and visual examples catered well to diverse learning styles. In response, I composed a poem incorporating the words Barbie, Key West, and Consultation:

On Halloween's eve in Key West, Barbie sought change, a unique quest. A consultation in the night's embrace, To become a pumpkin, a whimsical case!

Video Reflection: The disparity in teacher salaries poses a significant issue. Their demanding and crucial role lacks commensurate financial recognition. Finding a solution is imperative, although the optimal path forward remains uncertain, possibly involving considerations such as raising taxes.

Teachers should be better recognized for their hard work and efforts, they are responsible for educating this next generation of people that are going to run the world. Teachers not being paid a fair wage and it has been a consistent problem for years.

Brady Wisdom

Teachers are facing significant financial, professional, social, psychological, and emotional challenges due to the demands of their roles, often inadequate compensation, increased workloads, societal pressures, and the unique stresses of the education profession.

Feedback

Teachers are backbones to the entire country. They help raise generations of children that will go on to do great things. If these teachers are not compensated fairly, it might make them not do their best work which could hurt entire generations of kids. These teachers should be celebrated and should compensated fairly.

 Benjamin Feuer

Student Teaching

Teachers are an imperative part of society and help our schools and the next generation flourish. If they are not motivated and happy with how they are compensated, then we will be in a bad position, as we rely on them to teach and lead by example. This is very important moving forward as educations remains very important in our country.
